Mayor Michael Nutter helped kick off the 19th annual Philadelphia Marathon race weekend on Friday.
In all, 30,000 runners are expected to race in the marathon, half-marathon, 8K and fun run for kids.
Race officials also unveiled the official race medals and shirts to get the city in the racing spirit.
Runners will take their marks this Sunday.
Chief Meteorologist Scott Williams shared a look at the marathon forecast Friday during the FOX 29 News at 5.
"All in all, not too bad," Williams said. "We'll find sun and clouds Sunday morning, a little breezy, also chilly. By the start of the race, temperatures will be in the low 40s."
