Con artist, Oct. 30, GlendaleGlendale Police are asking for help identifying a suspect who conned an elderly woman out of $3,000 for a fake car repair.
On October 30, the suspect approached the victim in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart at 5845 W. Bell Rd and said her car was missing a large metal part, but that he had fixed it for her.

He immediately left the scene, possibly in a white full-size pickup truck.
The suspect is described as a white male, 40 to 50 years old, 5'8" to 5'10", weighing 160 lbs., with a graying beard and short dark hair. He was wearing a yellow T-shirt, red or orange shorts, white socks and white tennis shoes.
Anyone with information on this suspect is asked to call (623) 930-3000 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
