Firefighters Rally Outside City Hall Over Decision To Move Senior Officials

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

Firefighters rallied outside Philadelphia City Hall Thursday to respond to what they call a totally different kind of emergency.

Firefighters at the rally say they take issue with a decision to transfer senior firefighters to different sections of the city.

The group behind Thursday's rally says being unfamiliar with new areas could mean longer response times and could put lives in danger.

Philadelphia city council members say they will review the decision.
