A young man was killed in a rollover crash Monday night in Glendale, in the area of 69th Avenue and Bell Road.
According to Glendale Police, a black 4-door sedan was heading eastbound a high rate of speed when the driver somehow lost control, drove up onto the median, struck a tree and rolled his vehicle.
The victim, a male in his early to mid-20s, was taken to a hospital in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead. His name is not yet available.
No other vehicles were involved and no one else was hurt.
The area was closed to traffic while police investigated the scene. Speed is likely a factor in the collision, Glendale PD said.
