
Chase Bank robbery suspect on 11/8/12The FBI needs your help finding a suspect who tried to rob a bank last week.
Authorities say on November 8 at 3:45 p.m., the man walked into the Chase bank near Bell and Thompson Peak Parkway and told an employee he wanted to make a withdrawal.
He removed a demand note from his lunch box which stated it was a robbery.
The teller attempted to obtain the funds using their computer which dispenses the currency, but the suspect told them not to move. That's when, the teller told the suspect that if they can't move, they will be unable to get him any money.
The suspect left the bank empty handed. He was last seen running southbound from the bank.
The suspect is described as an unshaven white male with short hair, a medium complexion in his late 20s, between 6' 3" and 6' 5" tall and 240 - 250 pounds. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, brown framed glasses with clear lenses, a white short sleeve t-shirt, khaki cargo shorts, beige athletic shoes and was carrying a black soft shell lunch box.
Authorities say a weapon was not shown during the robbery attempt.
