Police are asking for the public's help in finding an armed robbery suspect who opened fire on one of his victims.
Back on September 29, he jumped out of a car in west Phoenix and robbed a 48-year-old man at gunpoint near 47th Avenue and Indian School Road at 5:35 a.m.
At 5:40 a.m., the suspect committed the same type of offense -- but this time, he opened fire. The shot grazed the back of the 43-year-old victim's head near 27th Avenue and Osborn.
According to police, an hour later, "a person of interest" matching the suspect's description attempted to use a stolen credit card obtained in the armed robberies.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 20 - 25 years old. He was wearing a fedora hat and sunglasses and may be driving a silver mini-van, possibly a Dodge Caravan.
Silent Witness is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case.
