A valley man is driving a moving truck full of donations for Hurricane Sandy survivors to New York.
Alan Staats collected blankets and supplies to help those affected by the huge storm that hit the Northeast. A pilot is flying a majority of the donations that were collected but Staats is driving the supplies that couldn't fit on the plane.
Staats plans to meet his son in El Paso, Texas and they'll continue the drive together.
FOX 10's Kristin Anderson spoke with Staats about how the donations came together.
