ANNAPOLIS, Md. -
Here are five things to know about Election Day in Maryland.
1. SAME-SEX MARRIAGE
Marylanders will be voting on whether to allow same-sex marriage beginning Jan. 1.
2. EXPANDED GAMBLING
Maryland voters will be deciding whether to allow table games like blackjack at casinos and whether to allow a casino to be built in Prince George's County.
3. DREAM ACT
Voters will decide whether illegal immigrants who have attended a Maryland high school for three years can pay in-state tuition at public colleges, if they or their parents have filed state income tax returns during those years.
4. CONGRESSIONAL MAP
Voters will decide whether the state's congressional redistricting map will go into effect.
5. POLL HOURS
Maryland polls are scheduled to be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
