McDonald's gives away 20,000 free books to promote literacy

Mcdonald's hosted Family Literacy Day on Saturday in Phoenix and Northern Arizona. 

The restaurants gave away 20,000 free books to children in Kindergarten through 6th grade. 

The first 100 parents who visited a McDonald's restaurant with their children in grades K-6th received a free Scholastic book and ice cream cone.
