SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -
A pedestrian was hit by a truck after he stepped off a curb on Indian School and Scottsdale Roads on Thursday morning.
Scottsdale police said the man entering the crosswalk when a truck hit him while turning the corner.
Officers said the victim was alert and speaking before being taken to a hospital. They do not believe his injuries are life threatening.
Police are investigating the details of the crash.
Southbound Scottsdale Road is closed and one eastbound lane of Indian School Road is currently closed.
