A Litchfield Park dentist is supporting clean teeth and the military by hosting a "candy buy-back" for kids' extra Halloween candy on Nov. 2.
Dr. Nelson Mar is encouraging children to bring in their excess, unopened Halloween candy in exchange for cash at $1 per pound, up to five pounds.
The candies will be donated to Military Assistance Mission, a non-profit group who helps non-commissioned military men and woman and their families.
Participants will be entered for door prizes. Children must be present and accompanied by an adult.
