REDFORD, Mich. (WJBK) -- Two men were found murdered on Detroit's west side.  A delivery driver discovered their bodies in an alley four days ago.  Police are still looking for two suspects.

James Blalock was one of the last people to talk to 24-year-old John Maus.  He was on his way to a house on Winston in Detroit last Thursday night with his friend, 20-year-old Andrew Hall.  They were lured their by their killers, according to police sources, who told us that's where Maus and Hall were duct taped to chairs and beaten with lead pipes before they were driven to an alley on Lawton, shot to death, stripped of their IDs and left for dead.

Both young men worked for Blalock installing furnaces.  Their employer and close friend was forced to identify the bodies.

Friends and family are now learning that it's believed the suspects were people that both Maus and Hall knew, a man that attended grade school with both victims and two others for whom police are still searching.

Sources told us Maus was also part of a prescription drug operation run out of that Detroit house.  A few days before the murders, there was an argument because they owed Maus $9,000, but they didn't plan to pay.  Instead, they set them up, got Maus and Hall to come to the house where they executed a plan to kill the young men and dump their bodies.

"They were good people.  John was an amazing person.  He'd give the shirt off his back," said Blalock.  "Andrew, himself, he was a good person, as well.  Andrew was enrolled in college and he was taking classes trying to improve on his life."

A couple hundred people attended a vigil to remember the victims Tuesday night in Redford.
