TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - A Tempe man who forced two men to strip after they burglarized his car has been arrested for allegedly having drugs and a 2-foot alligator in his home.
Tempe police said Tuesday that 29-year-old Anthony Burton was booked into jail on suspicion of illegal possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and possession of live wildlife.
They say 18-year-old Anthony Gammon and 20-year-old Alberto Rosciano were being held on suspicion of burglary, possession of burglary tools, misconduct involving weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Burton confronted the two men with a handgun as they allegedly were breaking into his car at an apartment complex about 3 a.m. Monday.
The men say Burton forced them to strip to ensure they didn't have additional stolen items. Witnesses saw the naked men and called police.
