Glenn Beck headlined a free PAC Arizona event Saturday night at the Phoenix Convention Center.
"Glenn's message always is one of hope and truth and love and that purveys throughout the audience here and we hope to restore that throughout our community," said Chip Howard, an attendee of the event.
"Progress has never been made by a group of politicians in Washington, real progress is made by average individual Americans dreaming and then doing," said Glenn Beck.
His powerful words resonated with his followers, who call themselves grassroots constitutionalists.
"And we just want to help turn this country around because if we don't fight for our country, we're in trouble," said Lillen Carlson. "I'm very proud of our country and I'm glad to see patriots come together."
Just down 3rd Street, talk show host, author and progressive activist Amy Goodman also spoke out.
"You don't just achieve democracy, it's something people have to fight for every single day," said Goodman.
Goodman hopes to empower all voters and her followers say she helps humanize the issues at stake in the upcoming election.
"There are people who are effected by policies and I think that gets lost really quickly in all of the media sound bites or political discussions," said Goodman. "I really think that liberal and conservative lines are breaking down now."
Glenn Beck will be speaking at two more free PAC events in Florida and Illinois later in October and Goodman will continue her 100 city tour into mid- November.
