Woman dies after being hit by truck

A 21-year-old woman died Friday night after being hit by a truck.

Police said Jeanette Lyons was walking or standing in the road near 91st Avenue and Broadway Road when she was hit by a Ford F-150.

Lyons is believed to have been drunk and might have tried to walk home in the dark, police said.

After being taken to a hospital, Lyons died.  

The driver of the Ford F-150 was not impaired or injured during the collision.
