DEARBORN, Mich. -- Michael is a 14-year-old knowledge seeker with a true passion for exploring new subjects.
"I like cars a lot. I'm like crazy about them," he said.
Like many boys his age, Michael also likes to ride bikes, play video games and race go karts. He hopes his desire to expand his mind will be matched by a fun-loving and adventure seeking family.
"He's very active. He loves being outside and running and gardening, and he'll talk your ear off about cars and anything else he's really interested in," said adoption specialist Nicole Chapiewski.
His many interests keep him excited about school.
"My favorite subject is science. I love science," Michael said.
He doesn't like to limit his topics, either. Michael's dreams predict a bright future.
"One day I would like to go meet the president," he said. "I would like to travel to some places like Florida. I'd like to go to Miami and play on the beaches."
A nurturing family with a sense of spirit is the perfect fit for Michael's personality.
"Ideally a two parent where he's either the youngest sibling or he's an only child, and definitely we need a family that is adventurous. They like to do stuff. They like to feed into his curious mind," Chapiewski said.
So what would be Michael's ideal kind of family? He says one that has a sense of humor just like him.
"I like people. I'm a people kind of person."
