Miles
MilesA puppy beaten with a sledgehammer in March is ready for adoption and is being given a free prosthetic leg.
Miles the Pitbull puppy had surgery on both of his legs but unfortunately, his left leg was so badly crushed that it needs to be amputated.
Hanger Clinic in Mesa is attempting to make the dog a free prosthetic leg. The company is best known for the prosthetic tail they made in the movie "Dolphin Tale."
Panacea Animal Wellness Sanctuary (PAWS) has been taking care of Miles and is trying to get him adopted to a loving home.
They will review all adoption applications they get for Miles and conduct meetings and interviews until they choose the best match for him. The adoption fee for Miles is $400.
