Deputies arrested two illegal immigrants after pursuing a speeding truck on the I-10 near the McCartney Road exit.
A Pinal County deputy saw a white Chevrolet truck weaving on the I-10 early Thursday morning and attempted to pull it over.
The truck sped to over 100 mph and drove off the road and into the desert near the exit at McCartney Road.
Law enforcement members found the truck abandoned in the desert near Woodruff Road and Cox Road.
Two people were found while authorities searched the area.
The pair told deputies they were part of a group of 20 people who were all from Mexico and had crossed into the U.S. illegally.
The two people were turned over to Border Patrol for deportation.
No other people were found.
