Children battling cancer can be some of the bravest folks around, and Wednesday these kids got a chance to strut their stuff.
Cardon's Children Center held a fashion show. Young cancer patients got a chance to take their minds off doctor's visits and tests, and just enjoy themselves on the catwalk.
"Getting them out of the room. Doing something to get them to smile and distract them from everything that's going on really helps change their attitude and the grueling treatment," says David Hyatt, Child Life assistant.
A couple children were a little nervous at first, but toward the end, kids were hitting the runway a second and third time.
