Judge says Crane cannot represent himself

The man suspected of killing a prominent Paradise Valley couple and a cigar salesman will not be able to act as his own lawyer.

The judge's decision came down Tuesday after Michael Lee Crane's requests to represent himself in trial.

The judge said Crane is too combative and has been uncooperative in court.

He is facing several charges including first degree murder in the murders of Glenna and Lawrence Shapiro and Bruce Gaudet.
