
A 33-year-old motorcyclist was killed Monday evening when a passenger car failed to yield and struck it.
It happened about 6:15 p.m. Monday at 75th Ave and Roosevelt.
Phoenix Police say a 2005 Nissan Maxima driven by a 55-year-old woman was traveling southbound when it attempted to make a left turn onto Roosevelt.
The driver failed to yield to a 2009 Triumph motorcycle, headed northbound on 75th, and the vehicles collided.
33-year-old Kevin Peter Knife died from his injuries. He was wearing a helmet.
There were no indications of impairment. Charges are pending against the female driver.
