CHERRY HILL, N.J. -

Dozens of performers will take the stage in a somewhat unusual setting Friday night and through the weekend in New Jersey.

The "70 on 70" music marathon is underway at the Barclay Farms Shopping Center on Route 70 in Cherry Hill.

Organizers say the music marathon, which features 70 performers, runs through Sunday and will benefit the Children's Regional Hospital at Cooper.

The music began Friday at noon with a performance on a Steinway Concert Grand Piano. The event is scheduled to come to an end at 6 p.m. Sunday.
