Investigative lead in robbery casePhoenix Police are asking the public for help identifying an investigative lead in an armed robbery.
This person is not a suspect at this time, but detectives would like to question him related to several incidents.
On Sept. 10, just before 2 a.m., police responded to 1580 East Pima Street for an armed robbery. Two victims reported they were robbed at gunpoint. One of the suspects had a sawed off shotgun and handgun.
On Sept. 14, also just before 2 a.m., officers responded to the same location after more people were robbed. They may have been robbed by the same individuals.
Detectives believe the suspects wait for people to leave the restaurant just before closing time, then jump them in the parking lot. They would intimidate the victims with a shotgun and handgun.
Police say they've located the suspect vehicle.
Anyone with information on the person of interest is asked to call the Phoenix Police Robbery Unit at 602.262.6141.
