Poll: Carmona holds 2% lead over Flake

It's one of Arizona's most closely watched races: Republican Jeff Flake in a battle with Democrat Richard Carmona.

They both want to replace outgoing Senator Jon Kyl -- who's retiring.

A new Public Policy Poll shows Carmona has the lead over Congressman Flake by two percentage points.

Also Wednesday, Carmona picked up a big endorsement in the valley.

The Arizona Police Association announced it's throwing its support behind the former Pima County Deputy Sheriff.

The group represents more than 10,000 law enforcement officers in our state.

Carmona has earned a number of honors during his years of public service, including the "Police Medal Of Honor" and the "National Top Cop Award."
