Surprise dad accused of sexually victimizing daughters

Posted: Updated:
SURPRISE, Ariz. -

A Surprise man has been arrested in a horrific case of child molestation, and his girlfriend has been arrested for child abuse.

The man is accused of sexual abusing his two daughters, currently ages 11 and 13, since as early as 2009, at their home near Bell and Reems.

The alleged conduct came to light when one of the girls notified school staff of the abuse, on May 23, 2012.

The 13-year-old reported that her stepmother hit her in the face with a spatula, her father beat her with a belt, and they made her stay in the garage without food or water or access to a bathroom all weekend.

After speaking of the child abuse, the sexual abuse by her father came to light.

He allegedly forced sexual conduct with his daughters, and shared them with other men. The victims also said he took photos and a video of the sexual contact.

The 35-year-old man was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on 3 counts of sexual conduct of a minor, 3 counts of molestation of a child, 4 counts of child sexual abuse, 1 count of aggravated assault on a child, 1 count of furnishing obscene materials to a minor and 1 count of kidnapping.

When talking to a police detective, he denied the allegations.

His 44-year-old girlfriend was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on 3 counts of child abuse and 1 count of failing to report neglect.

We are not releasing their names because doing so could identify the sex crimes victims.
