
Scottsdale restaurant, RnR, will have yoga fans saying "yum" minutes after saying "namaste".
Jolene Goring of Geo-Fit Personal Training is turning RnR's upstairs into a yoga studio on Saturdays at 9 a.m.
After yogis give their sun salutations, they can enjoy brunch in the restaurant. RnR features an Egg White Turkey Scramble and Protein Pancakes. Plus, anyone over 21 attending "Brunch & Burn" will get two drink tickets redeemable for a mimosa or Bloody Mary.
The cost of the program is $30.
RnR Brunch Recipes
Protein pancake batter
Dry mix
12 cups wheat flour
.25 cup sugar
.25 cup baking powder
1 tables + 1 tsp baking soda
1 tables salt
Sift all ingredients together
Wet mix
14 cups butter milk
1 lb butter
4 cups egg mix
Topping
2oz Apple Butter
4oz Granola
3oz Blueberries
Soften butter to room temp. Mix butter milk and egg together, and whisk in softened butter until emulsified. Then add wet ingredients to dry, mix until fully combined and let sit at room temp for 30 min.
Pour batter into oiled sauce pan on med heat. Sprinkle Granola and Blueberries onto raw side of pancake. Flip and finish with apple butter on top.
Turkey Scramble
6oz Egg Whites
1oz Spinach
3oz Turkey Sausage, sliced
2oz Red Bell Peppers, chopped
Saute Turkey, Spinach, and Peppers over medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Add Egg Whites and cook until fluffy.
