DPS identifies man who died in serious crash on I-10

A 46-year-old man died in a serious crash involving a semi on the westbound I-10 at Watson Road Tuesday during rush hour.

The Department of Public Safety identified Richard Burgit as the driver of the car.

DPS said Burgit had a tire blow out that caused him to cross into the center median and hit the semi.
