GLENDALE, Ariz. -

Monday we told you about a dog that went missing on Sunday in Glendale. The owner pleaded for his return, but never thought she would see him again. However, this story has a happy ending.

Studly is back and owner Tammy Mahoney couldn't be happier.

"He looks good, he looks good, he's a little hungry."

This 1-year-old shih Tzu has been missing for two days, dognapped during a neighborhood yard sale Sunday morning.

Neighbors saw a man throw the puppy into a burgundy van and drive off.

"I just thought there was a very slim chance of getting him back, I was just praying who ever took him would take good care of him."

Mahoney put out fliers around 47th Ave and Orangewood and pleaded for his return on Monday. Tuesday morning, someone brought him home.

There was a knock on the door at 8:30 in the morning. It was a couple holding Studly, asking Tammy if she was missing her dog. The couple said they saw a puppy walking down the street and recognized him.

"I just started crying. I was happy to see him, he's home."

His buddy Chloe is happy to see him too.

Mahoney is thanking FOX 10 News -- and says if her story had not been on TV, then she might not have gotten her dog back.
