Deputies have arrested a man who they say was driving with a blood alcohol level of .264, more than 3 times the legal limit.
56-year-old Roy Dean Medlin Sr. of Golden Valley was arrested Monday evening. He is facing charges of DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .08%, extreme DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .15% and less than 20%, and super extreme DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .20%, misdemeanors.
Monday evening about 10 p.m., Mohave County Sheriff's deputies observed a vehicle swerving in its lane and traveling 35 mph in a 25 mph zone.
Deputies say Medlin admitted to drinking and his blood analysis registered .264%.
Medlin was booked into the Mohave County Jail and his vehicle was towed.
