A fight between a group of teenage boys ends with shots fired and two of them injured near 16th Street and Illini.
Police say it stemmed from some sort of social media account around 9 p.m. Monday when a group of about 10 boys were arguing in front of a home.
"We don't know if it was a Facebook account or what that was at this point..we only know it had something to do with social media," said Phoenix Police Lt. Steve Roser.
The suspects took off from the scene, leaving two teens lying in the street. One victim was shot in the stomach, the other in the knee.
One suspect was taken into custody after he later called the police and admitted involvement.
Authorities say there could be a second suspect, but are still investigating.
The victims are expected to be okay.
No names or suspect descriptions have been released in this case.
