
A man was badly burned in a collision Monday afternoon in south Scottsdale.
About 2:30 p.m., a Chevy Corvette and a pickup truck collided in the area of Weber and Scottsdale Rd.
The Corvette caught fire and the driver suffered second degree burns over 70 percent of his body. He was able to get out, and is currently in stable condition at Maricopa Medical Center.
The driver of the pickup truck has minor injuries and will be ok.
The circumstances of the crash are unknown.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area of Scottsdale Rd, between Curry and Hancock Drive.
