A 2 to 3-year-old girl was found riding her 3-wheeler with no adults around on Monday near the 2300 block of East Olvine.
The child was not able to provide Pinal County Sheriff's deputies with her name.
By 10 a.m., the child's mother was located and she was reunited with her daughter.
PCSO's Tim Gaffney says "The child's mother reported she had gotten off of work late last evening and overslept this morning. When she woke up she couldn't find her child so she began to drive around. A deputy located her and let her know her child was safe."
Deputies are looking into whether charges will be filed. Child Protective Services was also notified about the situation.
No names have been released in this case.
