Breastfeeding in public is a controversial topic making headlines nationwide and Arizona's own backyard.
A "nurse in" took place Saturday afternoon to protest a popular restaurant chain that booted a breast-feeding mother.
The restaurant, Applebee's, released a statement saying: "We look forward to welcoming guests to our restaurants every day, and our top priority is to provide a friendly and comfortable environment for everyone, including nursing mothers who have the right to nurse in public."
Anita Roman has the details of the nurse-in and what was expected to happen.
