Jordan A. Murphy-MahoneyFLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - A Flagstaff woman has been indicted on manslaughter and other charges in a hit & run accident that killed a Northern Arizona University student.
The indictment from a Coconino County grand jury also accuses 22-year-old Kelsey Lou Cody of failing to stop at the scene of a fatal accident, DUI with a blood-alcohol content above the state limit of 0.08% and extreme DUI with a blood-alcohol content above 0.20%.
Cody was arrested after the Sept. 9 accident that killed 21-year-old Jordan A. Murphy-Mahoney.
Authorities say Murphy-Mahoney was riding a bicycle when she was hit from behind by a truck that left the scene.
Cody previously has pleaded not guilty in the case.
The Arizona Daily Sun (http://bit.ly/RUhA73) reported Tuesday that Cody will be arraigned Oct. 1 on the indictment charges.
