Two men were shot Friday night in the Phoenix suburb of Surprise.
It happened in the area of Ironwood and Jerry Street, about 7:45 p.m.
A 17-year-old man was shot on his foot and a 20-year-old man was shot on the head. The 20-year-old was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition. The 17-year-old was taken to the hospital but his injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening.
Witnesses and evidence found by the police suggests the incident was a drive-by shooting started by the 20-year-old in extremely critical condition.
Police learned that there has been an on-going dispute between the 20-year-old and the 17-year-old man.
The 17-year-old man lives in the area and was outside with a 22-year-old man at the time of the drive-by shooting. The 22-year-old man returned fire at the 20-year-old in the car, hitting him in the head with one of his bullets.
No arrests have been made.
