Organization helps Haiti prep for Isaac

Posted: Updated:

Hurricane Isaac is headed for Haiti and a valley organization is preparing supplies to aid Haitians.

Food for the Hungry is mobilizing its field staff in Haiti and the Dominican Republic and will provide emergency water, first aid kits, rain gear, fuel and other needed item. They will also go out into the community and educate people on what to do in case of severe conditions.

Over 400,000 people are still living in refugee camps outside of Port Au Prince and will be very dangerous if the hurricane hits.

FOX 10's Kristin Anderson talked to global executive officer, Marty Martin, about what they're doing to help.
