SEDONA, Ariz. -

Authorities in Coconino County are looking for a 27-year-old Minnesota man whose car was found parked at an overlook near Sedona.

Shaun Rentz was last seen in Minnesota on Saturday about 6 p.m. He was supposed to meet some friends Saturday night and did not arrive. He also missed plans to move into a residence on Monday.

No one has been able to make contact with Rentz since and his phone appears to have been shut off. Family members filed a missing persons report with the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office.

Monday, Forest Service personnel located an abandoned 2004 silver Audi 4-door sedan parked at the Oak Creek Canyon Scenic Overview, off of Highway 89A.

That same vehicle was still there the next day, which was reported to the Coconino County Sheriff's Office. They determined the vehicle belonged to Shaun Rentz.

Search crews fanned out on the ground and in the air, searching for Rentz.

He is described as a 27-year-old white male, with brown hair, blue eyes, 6' 4" in height and weighing about 215 pounds.
