Made in Michigan: Emagine Theatres

Posted: Updated:
ROYAL OAK, Mich. (WJBK) -

Emagine Entertainment operates six luxury theaters in southeast Michigan that will give you an experience unlike other typical theaters.

The theatres in Royal Oak, Novi, Canton, Woodhaven, Rochester Hills and Birch Run include luxuries from reserved seating and valet parking to a full service bar.

"The hallmark of our business is cleanliness, smiling, fun people. It's good technology, great sound and picture quality," said Highland Park native and founder Paul Glantz. "We make our popcorn fresh in front of our guests every day and throw it away at the end of the night; we don't want you to eat day old popcorn."

Emagine, founded in 1997, was the first theatre chain in the world to convert to 100 percent digital projection.

"We're trying to aspire to give our guests the best experience possible."
