1 year later, girl recovering from lawn mower accident

Four-year-old Lauren Stamper is learning to live with one leg after a terrible lawn mowing accident last year involving her grandfather.

Watch Ron Savage's full video report above.


Then just three years old, Lauren ran up behind he grandfather while he was mowing the lawn. Doctors at the University of Michigan's Mott Children's Hospital had to amputate her left leg.

One year later, Lauren is making a remarkable recovery.
