Josh, 14, is in foster care and is looking for a forever family.
He is a good student and has hopes to possibly become a veterinarian.
"I'm kind of a funny person at school," said Josh. "I always get my work in on time."
All that hard work pays off -- right now he is getting all As and Bs. Josh says his favorite subjects are gym and math. He describes himself as an easygoing, loyal friend who gets along very well with his younger foster siblings. All he wants is to be part of a family.
"I'm looking for a nice, big family, a family that likes to spend time together like bowling, going to see a movie -- stuff like that."
Josh says some day when he grows up he wants a good job and a happy life. After being in foster care for five years, he can't wait for a permanent family.
Adoption Specialist Melissa Benedict said, "Josh is really such a great kid. There are so many children in the state of Michigan in foster care looking for adoptive families and Josh is just one of hundreds. Like so many of the kids that we work with, he just wants a loving family. He wants someone that is going to take care of him not only to meet his needs but to love him and to appreciate him and all of his uniqueness."
"Pick the right child -- me," said Josh.
