
LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say a 77-year-old motorist from Arizona may have suffered a fatal medical episode before his car crashed in a casino parking lot in Laughlin.
Witnesses tell police the driver from Bullhead City, Ariz., slumped over behind the wheel of his 2001 Cadillac Eldorado before the car accelerated in reverse and crashed into a Mercury Mountaineer SUV a little before 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Riverside Resort Casino.
The driver was pronounced dead at West Arizona Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City. His name wasn't immediately made public.
Police say the medical examiner in Mojave County, Ariz., will determine a cause of death.
The 62-year-old driver of the Mountaineer wasn't hurt.
Las Vegas police cover the Colorado River resort town of Laughlin. It's about 100 miles south of Las Vegas.
