SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -

Southfield Police are on the hunt for a man who tried sexually assaulting a woman in her apartment one week ago. He knocked on her door, saying he worked for Consumers Power. When the 24-year-old woman answered the door, he attacked her.

It happened at the Providence Tower Apartments on the 1600 block of West 9 Mile Road in Southfield. The man left after the woman kicked him in the groin. Residents in the complex recognize the police drawing, and say he was lurking around the building just four days ago. If you recognize the man in the drawing, call Southfield Police.
