ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WJBK) -

A house fire fueled by fireworks killed a 32-year old father of three in Roseville.

Billy Tavernier was in his living room at 2:30 a.m. Monday when fire engulfed his home. Police are still investigating, but believe that he may have fallen asleep smoking a cigarette.

Tavernier had 4-5 cases of fireworks inside his home when it caught fire which prevented emergency crews from getting in the house to help him. Travernier's daughter turned 16 the same day her father passed away.
