One more thing, about all the reasons having NATO in town this weekend will be very helpful to Chicagoans. Forget the hassles. Here are a few positives:
Want to go to a Cubs-Sox game at Wrigley Field this weekend? Ticket brokers say that thanks to NATO fears, good Crosstown tickets are selling for less than face value. Seats 20 rows behind home plate were going for $40.
Some downtown restaurants that are normally impossible to get into, report very few reservations for this Saturday night.
And no worries about getting lost this weekend. With every police officer on the force working, many neighborhoods will have a cop on just about every corner who can give you directions.
And best of all: Anyone who's late for anything this weekend has a great excuse: NATO.
