Days after a woman was found dead in her north Phoenix home, we're learning new details about her alleged killer.
The suspect in this case was apparently intent on getting revenge, and his crime spree stretched from here to Las Vegas.
Not only did Wade Ridley kill his ex-girlfriend in Phoenix, police say, he also tried to kill another ex-girlfriend in Las Vegas.
That woman was someone he met online, and they only dated for 10 days.
45-year-old Wade Ridley has been accused of attacking two of his ex-girlfriends, breaking into their homes, stabbing them, and leaving them for dead. Anne Marie Simenson did not survive -- but the Las Vegas woman did.
According to court documents, the first incident happened three weeks ago in Las Vegas. Police say Ridley broke into his ex's garage, waited for her to get home, before knocking her to the ground and stabbing her. He allegedly confessed, saying he wanted her to pay because she "mistreated" him.
Then, last week, Ridley allegedly broke into Simenson's home near Tatum and Dynamite. According to reports, he attacked her with a machete and a butcher knife, stole her jewelry and electronics, before taking off to Vegas.
Ridley was arrested over the weekend in Nevada, driving Simenson's stolen car.
Ridley is facing a slew of charges including murder, attempted murder and burglary. He's being held without bond.
