PHOENIX (AP) — Two men that Phoenix police believe are responsible for a pair of brutal home invasions in south Phoenix pleaded not guilty Thursday.
The men were arrested last month after police put out sketches of two suspects.
The Maricopa County Superior Court says the next court date for 23-year-old Lester Dunnings and 50-year-old Kevin Michael Taubman is Jan. 20.
Dunnings and Taubman were booked into the downtown Phoenix jail on multiple counts of aggravated assault, burglary and aggravated robbery.
Phoenix police were looking for two men after a pair of very similar residential robberies which occurred in the past few days. They say the robberies occurred in the same southeast Phoenix neighborhood and both involved elderly victims who were bound and beaten.
