Police are looking for a person of interest in a drive-by shooting that left a 24-year-old man dead.
It happened about 3 a.m. Sunday in the area of 73rd Ave and Peoria.
Police say 24-year-old Miles Romanski and his 21-year-old brother were driving home when shots were fired at them. Romanski was critically injured and later died at a hospital.
Romanski leaves behind a pregnant wife and two step-children.
Michael Zamora, 18, is wanted for questioning in the incident. He was identified as driving in the area at the time and may have been involved in a road rage incident with the victim.
“This is going to be one of those, we’re not sure what led to the altercation but tempers flare, somebody has a firearm and before you know it somebody’s dead over what was probably a minor traffic altercation,” says Jay Davies from Peoria PD.
Zamora was driving a 2009 Dodge Charger, dark blue, with a spoiler, tinted windows, 22" custom rims and a custom front grill, Arizona license plate ARS971.
Zamora is 5'11", 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
About 1500 people are killed or injured every year in what’s called aggressive driving incidents.
