A mother accused of going after her children with a butcher knife pleads not guilty in court.
According to court paperwork, Jutrina Tillman strangled her 5-year-old son because she was mad at him for playing video games.
Police say when Tillman's 13-year-old daughter pushed her mother off the boy, Tillman grabbed an 8-inch knife, aimed it at her daughter and pressed the blade against her son's chest.
Tillman was arrested after officers responded to a 911 call made by the daughter at their south Phoenix home.
When Tillman made a court appearance in December, she told the judge that her daughter got caught having sex, and out of spite called the police on her mother. Court paperwork reveals an open child abuse case involving Tillman and her 13-year-old daughter.
Tillman's next court date is an initial pretrial conference on March 12.
