Woman found dead on Lake Elmo, Minn. road

A woman's bloody body was partly underneath a vehicle at 59th Street and Highlands Trail in Lake Elmo, Minn.

A call notified police dispatchers of a "person down" at 12:06 p.m. Wednesday.

Washington County sheriff's deputies said the victim, who has not yet been identified, suffered a gunshot wound.

At this time, officials are unsure whether the death is a homicide, suicide or something else, but the investigation is ongoing.
