Kari Lake anchors the award-winning "FOX 10 News @ 5pm" and "FOX 10 News @ 9pm."  Kari and co-anchor John Hook make up "Hook and Lake", the longest running news team in the Valley.

Lake is an Emmy Award winning anchor and reporter, receiving awards for her stories on the landmine removal efforts in Cambodia and a half-hour special she wrote and anchored.

Before joining FOX 10, Kari worked as an anchor, reporter and weathercaster in New York, Arizona and Illinois.

Kari was raised in Iowa, the youngest in a family of nine children. She received a Bachelor of Arts in communications and journalism from the University of Iowa.

She actively volunteers her time to many Valley charities especially those helping children, families and pets. Her favorite charity is Save the Family, a local organization that helps families break the cycle of homelessness.

Kari loves to read, swim and hang out with her family. She and her husband live in Phoenix with their daughter, son and dog.
